CACTUS PALS Art Project 2005
In 2005 the CACTUS PALS Family Centre in Bromsgrove received funding to provide a series of creative activities. These would provide a forum to promote children’s general health and well being through opportunities to freely express themselves.
As well as delivering some of the activities, I recorded the project using film and photography. A video was produced to support the evaluation documentation and illustrate the project’s success.

Creative Arts Workshops with Mums
The Droitwich Healthy Living Project runs programmes that address health issues in older people, mothers with young children and men. I have delivered several arts and crafts workshops with mothers from a variety of backgrounds. The sessions enable the women to have time and space to themselves while their children are cared for in a creche, discuss issues concerning them and make new friends.

‘Listening to Young People’ video
Centre for Social Justice at Coventry University undertook research into the way that young parents and parents-to-be were treated by health professionals.
The video was produced to illustrate real-life scenarios for use as part of a training package.

Through working in partnership with various organisations within the voluntary sector, we support positive community development by engaging local people in creative activities.
Complimenting existing work though creative activities we offer creative workshops for both adults and children, photography skills, video production and magazine production.
